About recited
Why This Exists
Several months ago, I was a creative director when a new client asked me a question that caught me completely off guard.
"When I asked ChatGPT about experts in your field, you didn't come up. Should I be concerned?"
I had a portfolio. Real clients. Years of experience. I didn't think visibility would be a problem, but I tested it anyway.
ChatGPT: nothing.
Claude: nothing.
Perplexity: same story.
I was an expert, but to AI, I didn't exist. And that's the actual problem: more and more people are asking AI assistants questions they used to ask Google. If AI doesn't know you exist, a growing share of your future customers won't either.
So I built the thing I wished existed: a system that turns real expertise into the kind of structured, citable content AI is actually trained to trust. That system became Recited.
Built by a Designer Who Also Builds the Tech
Recited is founded by Adam Sienicki, a product-minded design leader with over 10 years of experience spanning early-stage startups and traditional agency work.
Adam has led design and product work across a range of teams, including AI product design at anthym, creative direction at boodleAI, and agency-side creative direction at Ampsy, where his team built for clients including the World Economic Forum, Red Bull, and Linkin Park. That range, from fast-moving AI product teams to high-craft agency work, shapes how Recited approaches knowledge base design: built with the same attention to structure and clarity as a well-designed product, not just generated and shipped.
Recited itself isn't just a service Adam sells. It's a system he built, using the same knowledge base engine every client's content runs through. Live Examples
How We Build
Every knowledge base starts with real research, not a content template. Entries are inline-cited, internally linked to the rest of the set, and reviewed by a human before anything goes live. It's built to read like a reference work because that's the format AI platforms are trained to cite, not a stack of blog posts optimized after the fact.
